Re: Roland Versa Studio BN-20 Printing issue
Hi,
i have a similar problem. I bougth a second hand BN20
. I changed from eco-sol max to max3. And then we tried the firsts tests. And the print quality is bad, especially the Black print (See attachment). I did all kind of maintenance and cleaning (a lot of material and ink wasted), but until now the situation is the same.

Re: Roland Versa Studio BN-20 Printing issue
STAY WELL AWAY from Max3 it dries too quick and blocks the heads, Also problems with media adhesion as it dries so quick it has not got time to bond you need to use media that is designed for Max3.
Re: Roland Versa Studio BN-20 Printing issue
Before you changed the carts, was it printing OK? or did you buy it with no carts fitted?

I believe you need change the firmware before you instal eco sol max3. have you done that?
Dont waste any more ink and media. call ROLAND customer service and tell them what is going on after you upgraded.
