<t>Hi there,<br/>
<br/>
I've been having problems with the SG400 recently where occasionally my prints have strange banding on them. You can hear the print head sometimes stalling/stuttering when its going. I've usually got it set to advance photo in Powerdriver using Photoshop and there doesn't ...

Re: [Need feedback]Epson Artisan 1430/1500W
I tried changing the speed settings in powerdriver but that didn't really make any difference. Sawgrass are currently looking into it, they aren't sure what's going on with it.

Re: [Need feedback]Epson Artisan 1430/1500W
Okay so there is definitely a fault somewhere. Strange that I've seen it happen in two separate sg400's and other people have reported this problem.

Re: [Sawgrass SG 400] black dots
Without a doubt you need to keep the epson 1500w running or otherwise it will block with ink, probably because the sawgrass inks are water based but on the sg400 they are gel.

Re: [Sawgrass SG 400] black dots
I went through 2 Epson 1500W, they are pretty unreliable. I can't count how many times I suffered head blockages. I'm really impressed by the sg400, it's a workhorse. If only we could correct the speckling issue it would be perfect.

Re: [Sawgrass SG 400] black dots
Also to add, it's not the paper that's causing the problem. I've tried truepix and xpres paper and both have the same problem.
