9oz Balmoral mug attachment? Do they Exsist?
Re: 9oz Balmoral mug attachment? Do they Exsist?
Hi there,
Forgive if this is a stupid question but I have been a long time lurker and just purchased my first Mug heat press (UK Heat Press from Signzworld).
It comes with a 11oz attachment which is all well and good, but I would also like to heat press onto bone china 9oz Balmoral.
Now, for the life of me I cannot find the attachment to buy for this? Can I use the 110z attachment mat for a 9oz?
I'm sure this is a laughable question if you are a pro, so advanced apologies.
Thanks!

Have you got a link to the Balmoral mug? What is its diameter?

You will need a thicker blanket for smaller sized mugs. You should be able to buy alternative mug wraps for different size diameters from suppliers. We have a bank of mug presses all with different size blankets for this very reason.

A standard 10oz Durham mug is 80mm diameter, so a normal '11oz' blanket will be fine.AJG;141025 wrote:Hi Gary It is 94mm tall x 83mm diameter . Thanks

Hi, Thanks for your reply. I do not think the UK heat press has any smaller wraps than 11oz (Would love to be proved wrong)for the press. It was a cheap one so I guess I found its first limitation. I have an oven so will try that way as well. Just for clarification a blanket is the official name for a mug attachment?
Thanks again

I can't understand why they call these 9oz mugs then. That's the standard size of most 11oz mugs. I always believed the 'oz' stood for fluid ounces, ie. the capacity of the mug.AJG;141025 wrote:Hi Gary It is 94mm tall x 83mm diameter . Thanks
