Lines on prints using SG 7100DN
Re: Lines on prints using SG 7100DN
Hello,
Just wondered if someone could please help, I have a SG 7100DN and keep getting horizontal lines across prints. I have run numerous cleans and nozzle checks but still can correct the issue!
Is there anything else I could try?
I spoke to Ricoh and they want £145 for a call out then £150 per hour there after and that doesn't include parts! Does anyone know any engineers that cover the South East who are cheaper?
Thanks
Mark

Re: Lines on prints using SG 7100DN
Is it on all prints? I had an issue with lines but only one image. Have no idea why and have tried it numerous times over the last couple of months with lines every time yet every other image in the last couple months have been perfect

It's in the printer settings under maintenance, see the banding on the fish:-

Ye paper feed will sort it. It tends to stay fine for a while the suddenly get worse. But paper feed has always fixed it

The printer is 2 years and the paper feed has not helped the issue.
Spoke to Ricoh and they won't send engineers out for this machine as it uses Sawgrass inks. Spoke to Sawgrass who were no help at all.
Not sure what else to try, does it mean I just have to buy a new machine?
