Re: Reject % per box

Hi folks,

Apologies if this has been covered before, but I didn't find anything in my search.

Can I ask roughly how many (if any!) poor/unusable mug blanks people expect to get on average in a box of 36? I'm only a few boxes into my sublimation career and am trying to work out how high to set my expectations..

Ta!

As above, didley squat (unless it prints upside down, which is obviously a faulty mug )

Everytime I order from BMS, zero (or essentially zero - I'm sure I've had a few in the 1000s of mugs over the years). Others.... well I wont name names but I've had half a box entirely smashed on arrival from one supplier, I've had another from another supplier where a full 13 of 36, the handles pinged off as soon as you put pressure on them and the other 23 went back to the supplier with hairline cracks down the insides of the mugs. I could go on but I only ever get my mugs from BMS whenever I order.

I get mine from signzworld and have had none till the last box which I think was dropped as there's about 4 without handles and one with a chip. hope it's a one off.

Can you not set your print driver to do this as its default setting?

We get ours from Raja and delivered by Pallet. Very rarely any breakages or faulty/unusable mugs, and any number we report as such are added to the next pallet load we get in as replacements.
One thing I have noticed when buying other mugs from other suppliers, that some of the extra cost paid for more expensive mugs does seem to relate to the quality (durability, strength) of the packaging used to ship and protect them.

I've got 14 or 15 printers here and if someone has been messing about and I'm not paying attention then sometimes it happens.... they end up in the welfare box
