Re: Mug Conveyer Ovens
Just got the top one to load which does look good, but think you would have to be doing thousands per day to warrant that! Would be invested to know how much it is

Re: Mug Conveyer Ovens
What sort of volume do you need to reach and how often?

Fair enough
Just remember, with these beasts you need volume, and you need that volume everyday ::-)

Re: Mug Conveyer Ovens
I like the idea of a conveyor oven, then other machines in this thread just seem over engineered in comparison.

Re: Mug Conveyer Ovens
The Polish machine has now risen in price to £12,200! It really does look very good but at this price it's in direct competition with the smallest conveyor oven which can produce 200+ mugs per hour. I need to look at running costs more closely and the Polish machine is installed at that price.
The seller informs me there are 2 already working in the UK with a third being built right now.

Would not touch it with a barge pole at that price. Ovens are so much better in my opinion, in terms of print coverage, reliability (no cold spots) etc etc and you will not have to change the blankets once a week with an oven!

Re: Mug Conveyer Ovens
Haha, very valid points there Simon
At the price you mentioned it was worth a look but at £12k+ I doubt it very much. As Tim mentioned, perhaps this is just over engineered. A line of single head presses, possibly a few 4/5 head presses would produce more mugs a lot cheaper.
I'll carry on looking at the ovens but I did see details of running costs which looked very high.

Re: Mug Conveyer Ovens
Seller claim she never gave such a low price for the machine but hey ho. He makes a good point about not having to wrap each mug and is also looking at a 10 head machine which he claims will be 200+ mugs per hour. I've asked about the blanket reliability though and also pointed out that wraps will surely get closer to the handle
pricing up a couple of 4/5 head options from outside UK. I'm yet to see/use a reliable vertical multi-head machine but I do know of a company using one of these with certain success. We;ll see what the prices are
