Re: cushion covers from transfer press

Post by jennywren »

I've been looking at these for the last couple of weeks and lack the courage to sublimate on them, can anyone help me, time temp and pressure and so forth. How on earth do I stop the print from going through the bottom layer. Any help would be appreciated as being a bit of coward in trying them which is not like me. I only have 5 and don't really want to ruin them.

A tip for stopping the bottom layer could be a sheet of paper inside the case. :) we do that with bottle t shirts. As for pressing i cant help never tried it.

I have a towel folded and pressed (yes in the press) with wallpaper lining paper wrapped around it. This goes inside the cushion cover, then press.

No, not really Janners,
This must help prevent border lines from the paper when pressed. Good idea

Also works inside T- shirts, and I have a long skinny version for the sleeves of hoodies.

We have heard about your long skinny version!

Seriously it is good, when I first tried to print onto Pillow cases and cushion covers, I used a towel inside and it picked up all the ribbing in the towl. Ho hum.
