POINT you might not know with sage.

When you register with the inland revenue, they ask what software you might use. They have a special disk for sage.If you produce an invoice and don't post it,but print and delete it,they can find all files removed or deleted from the sage programme. I was a supplier of this prog, brilliant but does not allow cheats or mistakes

Yeah don't leave until the last minute. I still reckon I'm the No.1 procrastinator...last year (or the year before) my computer died two days before the deadline with all my books on it. Had to buy a new computer on Sunday an hour before they shut for a final submission date the following day.

So having learnt my lesson, I've filed the return with two weeks to spare. What annoys me though, having done my duty and heeding Moira Stewart; another sinister guy in a radio advert is telling me to make sure that I've declared all my income or else he's coming for me...to my front door no less! He means those dodgy ebay mug sellers doesn't he?

Interestingly my computer died, thankfully AFTER I had submitted my returns this year, but it does mean I have to put everything back on again! Ho hum!

Paperwork printed monthly, receipts in a receipt box monthly.. and low and behold this year will be completed in 2014 *

So are the monthlies all complete ;o)

Of course they are! And you will be able to submit on April the 7th, won't you? - you don't have to pay when you submit, you have until January 31st to cough up the readies :o)

They will be at the end of this month.. kind of lol

Although had a family berevement in the meantime.. which kind of screwed the end of January up..

I am aiming for the end of July for submitting though.. *so when you still see that I haven't done it till January 2015, you can remind me of said comment lol*
