In my racing kart days the guy who used to make the kart chassis that I raced had an area of his workshop which was screened off. Called in to see him one day and the screens were open - turned out he had a sideline. He was supplying the local (and not so local) S&M market with hand made gimp cages made to order to specific dimensions! He also did a good trade in person sized crosses with restraints and that pivoted through a full 360 degrees. He said his major selling point was that everything he made could be disassembled and assembled in less than 5 minutes and would fit under a standard double bed! I never asked how he came to be in that line of business :o)

We have done hundreds, possibly thousands of mugs over the years with hand/footprints on them for schools and nurserys. For us the best way has always been to get the school to do it, scan them in then send over. Some schools have sent the originals for us to scan in. Some have just had the one child on it, others the whole class one side and the individual child the other. We have also done lots in the same way with the child's self portrait as well.

And then you can use the blood to give the hand-printed effect.

and if you put the severed limbs in the freezer you can always go back and have another go if there is a glitch in the system or you lose an image - you would of course have to name tag them all which would be something of a nuisance :o)
