Hi guys

Can you get Chromaluxe panels 50 inches wide?

I have a customer that requires either of the following:

30x30 inches 5 off or 47x33 inches 5 off

If anyone would like to give me a price then please feel free to PM me. Please note that the images are iconic images and I will be checking your websites to ensure that you currently do not infringe copyright as I can not take the risk of these entering into the public domain

largest size available from XPres is 1 metre x 70 cm which seems the best fit available for the size you're wanting (this only available in gloss white)
(which is about 40x30in in inches)
around £50 plus VAT per sheet, so not cheap though.
You'll need someone with a big enough flat bed press too to be able to print it

I looked at a press for these, then spotted the 3 phase power supply needed.

I've spotted a few older presses from time to time on Ebay that would be suitable for this size, but were only single phase - would have had one if we weren't outbid!

I did see one but it was £5000 used! It was also going to be a bit of a challenge for my Solar Panels, it was a 5 KW draw!

Hey SocialGiraffe, if you want bespoke sizes of panel you can get these made up for you. We can offer them here at Xpres but I would have to ask as to the bulk you would need to order to get bespoke sizes made. We have a big range here however but I do appreciate that bigger is better.

Could I ask what press you would be using? If you need any advice on pressing the larger panels let me know, I specialize in sublimation and we came up with some comprehensive instructions on achieving high quality, supersize Chromaluxe panels. There is a real knack to it as we found out the hard way!

Might be good to have a guide to these in the Xpres section at some point Alistair? I noticed on your site today that you advice using a particular material to press with. i've had good results with the A3 size I work with but it's a pain if you do mess them up as they're not cheap. Anything you can do to help avoid this would always be useful :-)

If it is the one where they pre-press the panel it is good. It's the way I do it....but learned the hard way!
