its an old skull that i upped to a vector site a while ago, its been used to death now on quite a few things. Most of mine will have the scroll work with them and the muerte style to them, also a lot of chicano style influences. You will also find a load of my old graffiti style designs floating around. I did a few vector packs and sold them as well, never got a great return off them as they got "shared" all over the net.soulclaimed;71124 wrote:Did you design this as I have seen the same skull on a free vector download site if you designed it is it on there with your knowledge Google free scull vector design
I build mine starting with a good grunge splatter background then apply some floral/scroll layers, flip them, scale etc then lay a skull or two on top, then i apply some scrollwork and further embellishments say two tone shading etc. Once i have that i then apply another grunge layer on top in a cut mask layer that degrades the image further giving it an old school look.
I have created a quick composite and you can grab a copy and mess with it if you like, its in photoshop format at the moment and you need two fonts.
Font One: http://www.dafont.com/mcf-bad-manners-ww.font
Font Two: http://www.fonts.com/font/highground-ak ... ls/regular this is the scrolls under the letters and is not a free font i am afraid.
For the lettering i applied a stroke in white, then applied an outer glow with its setting to normal, opacity 100, spread 100 and a size of 16 this makes the glow solid rather than faded, i used a gray for the outer glow giving it that west coast look to the lettering.
The skull work is a composite of a grunge splatter, wings, two floral brushes, a stock skull modified and some maces all layerd, cut and modified i have given each layer a different tone so you can differentiate between them.
Feel free to download it and mess with it all you like from here the Ps file is 46mb in size i am afraid as its on an A3 layout. goto www.inkedkustoms.com/dsfskull.psd
here is what it looks like
