Its with Travellers but they were very expensive, I was retiring from one business, opening another etc, so needed a company for the transition, excellent as they allowed that. But by their own admission will not be competitive for this industry at renewal, as the risk levels and hence premiums are too low and not their market place. Nice honesty!

Market traders federation..... if you just do one market a year ? - membership is about £65 a year and includes employer and 3rd party liability to £3million.
You can insure assets and equipment separate, but membership includes the legally nessesary stuff!

Yep, I mentioned the NMTF a while ago. In fact talking with them you don't actually need to do any markets! It is now £120, but worth every penny I feel!

It's actually £102.00 per year!

it does seem a lot more than I remember paying last autumn, but it is such a bargain for the insurance! - I had been buying combined shop insurance for about £1400 pa for a single shop, then I joined NMTF for my £60, and paid an extra £400 for stock and asset insurance for TWO shops worth of stuff!
Check them out!
