Just discovered it is cheaper to send parcels over 1kg from Southern Ireland to Northern Ireland than it is to post the same item to Northern Ireland from within Northern Ireland.

How bizarre is that?

kinda puts a serious dent on the brollies bud, and you sell a lot of them if i remember right from past discussions ? :frown:

@ John G -i will get my head round this come next week...honest !..got some more "anti-old age syndrome" pills here to take....i'll be fine:tongue:
i asked our local PO master if he's ready for all the crap he's gonna get come price hike next week.
His reply - if they(customers) dont like it they can **** ***...charming indeed
but he is the ONLY PO in town so he knows he can get away with.....er...anything just about.

but he did say that they have not even got any prices/details though yet...and that was on thursday i spoke to him....what a farce from all sides

Looks like a lot of PO's are the same.. my other half went and posted some bits for me Thursday.. and they said they would be getting leaflets in.. he went in again today and they politely told him that they wouldn't now be getting any in till after the price change has happened.. and it didn't matter because they weren't open till then anyhow..

Great for those trying to plan ahead.. lol

Thanks for that viccar - i've filled in the form to get a free one.
I've already ordered an mdf one off ebay as i'm sure the card one won't last long - my homemade card one is a bit rough round the edges now through over use.
