Can anyone help?
Re: Can anyone help?
A customer of mine has asked to have a small image put on to a black hoody with vinyl wording on the rear.
I have shown her that the transfer paper I use is no good for her image as it leaves a white background and if I print a black background it looks horrific.
I am therefore wondering if anyone uses the self weeding transfer paper that would allow her to have her image printed with no background.
If anyone uses this and would like to see the image I will upload tomorrow.. tried on my phone but it gets so far then cancels itself
Thanks in advance.

Happy to pass the customer over to someone if this can be accomplished.. and I have spoken to her to advise it isn't something that I can do..

Although I can't be certain that image looks like it would need to be screen printed.

Re: Can anyone help?
The way I could see it being done would be on a versacamm that prints white.
I have one of these and so does Roger.
It would be printed on C-Print Crystal and then backed with white.
I would be willing to have a go but can not touch it until Friday at the earliest as I have too much going on. Roger may be able to do it earlier and may be willing to take it on.
I warn you though it would not be cheap!!!!!
The alternative is find someone on here who either has The White toner based magic touch printer OR someone who uses the Magic Touch WOW paper, both of which would do this easily.

WOW...that's some logo!!!!
The colours would need to really pop for that to be seen properly on a black hoodie!! The sprays would be easier done with screen printing discharge ink in a spray bottle..or maybe the kisscut stuff?!?!?!

This is the thing.. the image she wants only.. transparent background (for some reason it's not saved with a transparent background on here - I am not having a good day lol) so I was thinking the WOW paper maybe..
She doesn't want anything other than the image to show.. so wouldn't accept the white backing.. if she would I could possibly have done it on my transfer paper but, nope..
I could scream right now lol..

My concern would be weeding the coloured 'splats' especially the blue one. I honestly think the only way to get the image as she wants it is to screen print because in places it is too small/fuzzy to weed transfer vinyl.socialgiraffe;65066 wrote:The way I could see it being done would be on a versacamm that prints white.

SG I wish I could print white....my versacamm is the older SP300 although it is the 'V' model. My only way of getting white is to use white vinyl.

Re: Can anyone help?
Sorry I should have been clearer
Roger and I own Versacamms (there maybe others on here also). Our printers can print white which means we could take the image, print it on C-PRINT CRYSTAL which is a transparent heat transfer paper, and back the image only with white. To give you an idea of what I meant I have quickly placed this on a navy tee.

As mentioned it would not be cheap as I think the image would need a double hit on the white and if the job came in under £20.00 just for the transfer I would be surprised.
TMT WOW would be the cheaper option
