No its confusing steve, do as above, then once set up ignore all else and just print using power driver, and adjust paper, substrate ect from powerdriver.

Im not sure on that steve, ive got elements 7, i know i followed instructions, then it didnt print quite right, so i asked on here and after advice i now just select print - powerdriver - then adjust settings in there if need be. Colours all good.

It is confusing because sawgrass say to follow steps.
Here is a screen shot of what mine looks like, not saying its right, but it works for me. Using the dropdown menu to select power driver

I you look closely to your screenshot you will see that you have set printer menage colors. If printer does tha then you cant chnge it. If you pick photoshop menage colors then you will get option of oicking any profile. But again... You use powerdriver so no need for changing an thing... Any way... Even if youreally want to change anything why would it be srgb??? Adobergb gives more true colors. With srgb you will get over saturated image.

Im realy not sure what the difference is, i guess it would change the ink profile for each substrate, maybe? Far too technical for me.

I just followed what the members on here said  and it works.

Thats what sawgrass say
Also, once an image has been opened or imported in Elements, you will need to configure the embedded profile. In the menu bar, click Image > Convert Color Profile > Convert to sRGB Profile (see FIGURE 4).

to do in the instuctions (link above) paul, this is where i got confused and so has steve.

yes it is confusing now iam just going to go powerdrive let printer manage coulers and only change in preferances sub products to ceramic. but just the same as viccki did when you are new you just follow instructions on sawgrass website there is definatly a diffrence in quality of the print in elements 11 from sub products to ceramic so the couler change maybe down to cooking time

Software is probably my "weak area" at the moment. For my mugs I use Elements 10 or 11, depending on which computer I'm on. I then save as a JPEG and then open it up in Microsoft Publisher and copy the images onto an A4 page and print out from there. The quality seems ok but I'm always looking for ways to improve quality/productivity.

I am using a Ricoh 3110 printer with Sawgrass inks. I use the powerdrive setting for the print.

I would be interested to know what the more experienced people do?
