@Viccar - Windows 7 is essentially Vista fixed and improved - even the version number indicates this, it certainly runs a lot smoother on our computers (all of which are around 6 year old models)

I would concur with this. I'm running up Windows 8 on a couple of machines and I'm starting to think I may have made a mistake.

Windows 7 is everything Vista should have been. It's slick and it works. To give you an idea (by the way) of how the industry seems to have approached Microsoft Operating systems, the jury is still out on Windows 8......

Windows 98 Great
Windows ME Poor
Windows XP Great
Windows Vista Poor
Windows 7 Great......

So I'll leave it to you to decide about Windows 8
I'm learning. So I'm probably spouting rubbish. Be patient

Don't sound great, as I just went out Saturday and treated myself to a £600 new pc with windows 8 . Hope it improves.

Temp solution, whilst waiting for Sawgrass to pull their finger out, would be to install just the Ricoh printer driver, and get custom ICC(s) made

Hi Dave271069

Is there anything else you can use to print your first test. Using a slate is a very risky move for your very first print from a printer that may not be supported using the operating system you are running.

If you have already tested then I admire your bravado

Why would you want to get custom ICC profiles made? ICC profiles are already available from Sawgrass for the Ricoh.

Ah, I stand corrected, didn't realise they still had them still as separate options, thought it was power driver or nothing.

Sawgrass says PowerDriver and Windows 8 are not compatible (yet). You can print from PhotoShop/ CorelDraw using ICC profiles. There are choices in the Windows environment. Mac users have to use ICC profiles only.
