Recently bought one of their Stenstorp models for my additional mug press and supplies, got it off ebay (shop price currently is £140, bought for £24.00). Might be worth a look on ebay under Ikea.

Found a good one on Ikea but wasn't sure about the weight rating on these. The machine mart ones do look good, with a wider panel on top may work ok.....still thinking about a diy to my own spec though ;-)

I just build another computer desk when I run out of space and put my new equipment on those. However the idea of a 'wheel about' desk does appeal.

How much does one of your builds cost please Richard, are they off the shelf or true scratch built?

Yes they're the ones. Would be possible to add another couple of wheels before placing equipment on top though.

Tony, it all depends on the size of gap I have as to whether I buy off the shelf or cobble something together. These days I tend to just buy the cheapest (sturdy) desk on sale at the time.
