maybe I should follow that design but build from wood
How about some Dexion 4 small wheels & some chipboard to build your own custom mobile stand. It would be like using giant Meccano & it's already predrilled.

looking for transfers the other day I came accross the " heat press caddy" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zuLfavDswCI now this looks brilliant and looks like it would make life so much easier! I think could do with a built in storage area, now all I need is my other half to actually figure out how to make something like it ( fat chance lol) looks like a old office chair or 2 may come in useful in the design!

You could always contact a flight case company who will bespoke make something for you. It probably will not be as expensive as you think

Yes I've seen that one, looks ok and the 'threading' as they call it is very good. Only thing I noticed was it did wobble a little, not totally sturdy.

justin, use the machine mart trolly but fit a bigger plate over the existing top shelf, will work fine if you look at engineers trolleys they are £££££'s so that idea would work best

I wonder any of these trollys are robust and heavy enough for a swing away adkins press?
We use A1 plan chests which we get from architects who are going digital. The magic touch Cut paper media is A2 and it is great for storage of all flatwork.
I suspect you could attach flightcase wheels, but that would make them a little too high for good working.

I have 2 of the IKEA small style kitchen trolleys (one for the heat press (Geo Knight Swing Away) and one for the embroidery machine), around £30. Recently bought one of their Stenstorp models for my additional mug press and supplies, got it off ebay (shop price currently is £140, bought for £24.00). Might be worth a look on ebay under Ikea.
