I'm using a Ricoh SG3110dn printer. printing Dark Transfer Paper i set the printer setting to default (powerdriver) and printed a sheet out but the colour is a darker red than the original on my screen. Do i need to change any other setting to get the colour right.

Ignore what is on the paper and try a sample press first.

The colours on a printed dye sub sheet always look dull/faded and totally incorrect, but transfer perfectly

I know it is possible to use sublimation inks on dark transfer paper but really this type of paper is for standard pigment ink such as Epson Durabrite and therefore I would doubt you will get the results you want this way.
