Re: Kindle sleeve

Post by Gelert »

I don't have a Kindle and have read the threads discussing the covers only fitting the Kindle Flame etc.
Was just wondering if anyone had bought the kindle sleeves from BMS and if they can confirm that the do indeed fit a UK Kindle and if they could also say which model that would be fab. Got a buyer waiting.
TIA

http://visual.ly/4-generations-kindle-size-comparison

Here is a link to where it shows the actual kindle sizes by model.

BMS says their sleeve has overall dimensions of 120mm x 190mm so would from my calculation be a tight squeeze on the last kindle with keyboard (the grey unit) and generous on the new kindle touch.

Maybe this helps.

I got some dimensions off the net yesterday, but it doesn't help too much because the sleeves are a little bit stretchy so may fit when you think they won't.

They will definately fit the kindles that are grey in colour but definately not the old white/cream kindles - so if it is the grey unit or the touch screen one it should fit fine IMHO. Infact I do not think the UK had the old kindles so very likely it would fit any unit purchased in the UK.
