Hi,

I have tried to press first rock slate (Coralgraph), pre-heat for minute even with silicon pad, then press face up for 7 minutes at 190 degrees and result?

Have a look?

Any advice, where is problem?

Thank you

Michal

What pressure?
It looks like to light a pressure on the bottom right corner especially.

Jack.
If at first you don't succeed, read the manual.

It looks like either the pressure was too light or the image wasn't fully dry on the paper before pressing.
I have seen some blotching like this when the image is taken out of the printer and placed straight onto the slate.
We try to preheat the image under the press for a couple of seconds if it is needed urgently.
As for the Coralgraph slates I think they are great, they work really well with a sepia image. Here's one we did earlier.

Try a higher constant pressure. We had a problem with the photo panels, the press would not lock because of the thickness of the panel, and a firm constant pressure was not being applied. a constant pressure solved it.

Jack.

Thank you guys, probably I have been to scare to destroy stale, that it was more low/medium pressure.

So I will try to preheat image for a few second, make sure it is dry and I will not be scare to do high pressure.

Second test tonight, I will try same picture to see result. I will let you know.

low/medium pressure is right for slates.
but also pre heat image for few sec would be good. hover you press over image. this should dry it up a bit. how thick is your silicon sheet?
