Whilst looking at another thread about hi-viz on ebay I spotted this one.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hi-Viz-Safety ... 27c2748ac7

Why do people buy off sellers like this. £3.98 to post a hi-viz ? According to blurb he has 100% feedback, he better tell ebay they are lying :)

everything i buy on ebay i always check the postage
Postage is sometimes a lot more than the item is worth as in the case you pointed out

For me the postage comes up as £6.53 ! And the vest is exactly the same as the one I got in the 2 euro shop. Crazy & yet someone must buy them.

He's just trying to avoid Ebay fees which are calculated on the item sale value and not postage.

I thought they had clamped down on that.

I guess they'll pull it when notified.

Someone is being a very naughty boy on Ebay. I had a look at his other items he has for sale & one of them is a very old Epson cartridge & he wants £7.64 P&P. Anyone know what an Epson C20 looks like?

People like this have no concept about ebay and how to use the platform to sell a product. They just see it as an opportunity to sell items with 'hidden' extras such as the added postage costs - a little like del boy in the marketplace.

It does annoy me sometimes!

I had a look at his feedback and some of his replies to neutral and neg feedback are quite funny. Someone complained that the item broke straight away and he said "feedback was for the person not the product" and to someone who gave a neutral the reply was "if you are not going to give me 5 star feedback I do not want your rating" or "e-bay newbie, who has no idea how it works". I know most of his stuff sells for 1p but he's ripping the p*ss really.
