hey there, im new to dye sub so dont know much,i have a epson d120 . i have been using it to do some mugs . the problem is that the power light is flashing when i go to print and the red light is staying on,which i believe is the ink?
can anyone help me with this i think it needs ink, but there seems to be ink in all chambers ,though the 2 black 1s are a bit low, 1 is lower than the other.
could that be the problem?

Is it not flashing because your waste ink tank is full? Can you move your cartridges to change cartridges position?

The problem sounds like it is the cartridge block that is not fitted into the cartridge holder properly. This is a FIRM insertion and if the chips are not making proper contact then this light sequence will show.

The breaking of the upstand on your cartridge block is terminal though and you will need to purchase a replacement cartridge and tube assembly from your supplier for your printer.

A new D120 won't help as it is the cartridge block of the EasyFlow system that is broken.

You will need to get the correct cartridge and tube assembly from a Sublimation supplier. I presume you are using Artainium ink? The RRP for the new cartridge and tube assembly (which comes filled with sublimation ink - around 60-75ml of ink) and connects to the bottles (where the lock nuts are in the tubes) is around £50 +vat. Speak to your original supplier though as they may be able to help with a goodwill gesture!

hi martin thanks. for your help, to be honest i bought the printer from a guy i worked with he sold me it as he was moving back down south. i have tried getting in contact with him but to no succes .
i dont even know what ink is in it
would it be better if i just bought a new ciss system if i dont know what in is in it?
i have been looking at them but there going to cost nearly £300 from sawgrass.
