Obviosly i know there wont be any white on it :-) my only problem is that after pressing on them their aint shiny as their where before. I will try take the photo of the problem...

Have you rubbed it gently with some water Paul to make sure it not paper fibres that have been left on the surface?

I only say this as it looks similar to when I had the 'slate problems'.

yep. i tear all paper of the coating in the sink. this look more like sandpaper tear :( i know is somethinkg to do with preasure. this same with lighters. lighter preasure=less blemishes. so use almost non preasure now. its definitly not problem with my plate as it happen when cover with teflon or uncoverd.

do you think your problem might be that you are buying indirectly, hence have no idea on the quality of the product?
i followed the instruction and it just worked, not found much interest in them thou......

i dont think this is lack of quality buddy. as it hapend to me every time i press lighter too. and I had them from load diferent sources. Is worth to mention it happend to me couple of times when I pressed mirror silver busines cards too.

Are these from the same source - as logobear has mentioned, if you buy from third party there's no come back - buy from the supplier (not ebayer) then you can always go to them for support.

Paul, I found that the paper made a difference. I tend to use Texprint HR for metal keyrings as the Jet Col paper, which is the other paper that I have, prints terrible on them.

no. not same source. and whats the third party this days?? all come from china :) I had some silver from reputable suppliers that are members of this forum and it was this same problem. ALways mirror silver. I think this i down to me :( I must do something wrong...
