Laser is no good, it has to be a mechanical router. Now, you would think it easy to find a reliable company who could cut shapes for you at a sensible cost but I am still yet to find one. I had bespoke shapes cut as samples but ongoing for larger runs I failed in finding a decent company to do them.

Huh? Why?

A system accurate enough to make critical compression plates for high perfomance engines is no good???? If heat's the issue - Again, out of the box thinking is required. If necessary cut first coat later... Polyester powder coat (a VERY common coating) sublimates well. - As does two-pack poly automotive material

Paul, if you only need the one, I can pop one of mine in a jiffy bag for you. Remind me of your address by PM and I'll get one posted out to you on Thursday.

No charge for one. You've done enough for me in the past, it's the least I can do. I'll get one in a jiffy bag, but I can't get it posted until Thursday.

I got mine from these guys: http://www.clockparts.co.uk/clock-movements.htm The price initially seems more than BMS's price, but the price shown includes VAT and postage so what you see is what you pay. They also do different lengths/styles of hands and mechanisms with different spindle lengths (you need longer lengths to go through glass, and shorter ones for aluminium - I have at least two different lengths here).

Their website isn't the last word, but it's all there somewhere.

I just checked those guys. they website is trible :) but i found there what i wanted. I also find them on ebay :)

I found this:

QUANTITY PRICES

(Without Batteries)

5 to 9 clock movements with hands £2-60 each

10 to 24 clock movements with hands £1-60 each

25 to 49 clock movements with hands £1-30 each

50 to 99 clock movements with hands £1-10 each

100 clock movements with hands 80 pence each

250 to 499 clock movements with hands 75 pence each

500 or more clock movements with hands 70 pence each

but when I chosed one i wanted it telling me is £10 each :(

BTW. I need one that goes for the metal clock.
