Not got Robo software on this laptop so will have to post later for exact instructions. I do a lot of jpg imports in to CR. One tip while you are waiting, try opening the jpg in a normal ( even Paint ) and save it as a bmp. try importing that. Will be about an hour before I can look at it. I do occasionally have a problem with some of them but the bmp usually gets round it. Another tip is to change the mode of the file to grayscale, it might look black & white but it can still be RGB

i use "outside" file hosting. I trace this with vector magic. so maybe thats why is pixelated.

Tried this. Basically when I saved the files they are too small and very pixelated. I then double clicked on the image twice then right click and use Save Picture As

Go to a new file in CR , click on the Load File icon on the top toolbar, import the file, then click on the Get Outline icon, and Convert To Outlien & Paste & Exit.

Personally unless it has to be 100% the same, I would remove some of the fainter lines before working with it.

If you still struggle you need to pm an e-mail address and I'll send you the GSD file, can't upload it because it exceeds maximum file size on here.

Be interesting to see how that compares to the standard load/ get outline version. I can't try it tonight because I still have the old version of Robo Master here at home and the new version at the shop. Think I might need to update my emergency backup system

I tried that first mate and the lines didn't define enough - so I converted it to a vector which tidied the image up giving clearer lines, then saved this vector as a jpeg and then went back to square one (load, get outline).

Sorry for the delay. I'm still a bit lost as in how you get the outline of the image. When I import the JPG into CR and press get outline, it only ever seems the get the outer outline and not all the inside detail if that makes sense. How did you get the outline AdamB for the one you put up for download?

I have just been given another logo that I need to get the outline of now, it does not seem a bad as the Skitzo logo though.

In your opinion is it, is not really viable to take a JPG and convert to be used on the CR?

i just traced it into corel draw, on a black & white trace, removed background if i knew how to put images in from my desktop i could show you, do i have to host the image before i can post it ??
