Problem printing greeting card PDF

Hi all, I hope this is okay to post. I took the plunge and bought a canon printer to print greetings cards. I am going to be printing onto A5 card to be folded to make an A6 card. I had all my designs saved as an A6 PDF hoping I could then select A5 paper size when printing. I've tried printing with acrobat as it's a pdf and not having much luck! I can only select A5 paper size if I keep the settings as just normal paper, if I switch to the greetings card setting it doesn't seem to have A5. I printed one card almost fine but it was centred it was off, another I tried to print had these coloured lines all down the side?!

Can anyone suggest the best way to print a pdf that's to be folded?!

Any help is appreciated as I'm at a loss!

Why? If you are printing on A5 paper to be folded to A6, then you need your PDF to be A5 size, not A6, or am I not understanding something here?

Changed them all to A5 now and it is printing more centered now, just need to have a play around with colour settings because it could be better
