Hi all , new member here hu3 4hh , we have been Dye subbing for a couple of years now on all over on a4 size panels quite succesfully , we have moved to a3 size panels and are getting a unprinted dot in the centre of the heat press
Any ideas or recommendations on a good quality a3 + sized heat press ??

Thanks in advance :)

What type of panels are you printing? Wood / metal?
Adkins was the best press I had. George Knight second best. Rigid A3 items are quite hard to print and and bit of a goldilocks item where everything has to be just right. We often print 2 A4 sizes in one go easily but if they were one complete A3 it can easily go wrong. If you are going to be doing them regularly you are best trying to keep a dedicated press so settings don't change.

Never used pneumatic press but that would depend on your budget.

A bit of padding out on the base can help which allows for some self levelling. Depends on your press really.

Personally our preference for presses are PressMech, and have printed full size metal and acrylics sheets in them fine.

... adding to JMugs' post - we have 5 A3+ PressMechs!

In terms of thickness of acrylic, I think it was 5mm that we did for a few projects some years ago.
For aluminium, we do from .5mm up to 1.1mm
