Hi all

Been asked about doing placemats today unisub hardboard customer is enquiring about baize for the underside.

Does anyone supply this?

SoleJuice have just introduced a new PictaLeather UV style placemat and matching coaster. I had one through to test and the print is superb, worth a look.

Unisub place mats are a PITA for warping (see similar threads!)

A piece of snooker table slate on top afterwards seems to do the trick :)

You shouldn't need to put anything on top to flatten these, that's the point. If you were printing 1 or 2 it's not a problem but on a longer run....

I've given feedback to Unisub as one of our suppliers met with them at the Show in LA.

Agreed - I just thought it might be helpful for those doing the odd few with stock they already have. Dampening the backs is also supposed to help. I rarely do them now so have no idea whose stock is any good.

Best thing to do in my opinion is to boycott the product as I personally see them as being faulty. All stock is the same.
