Hope everyone had a prosperous and fun Christmas. Back to the grind today and now have a problem with my cutter. It materialised on Xmas Eve and I spoke to Graphtec and their call out is £280 + Parts :o Its not mechanical and in my other life I have a computer business. So its basically either the mainboard or the control panel board. Not a happy bunny as you can imagine.

It wont let me change the cutter pressure without freezing. I have to switch unit off and restart it and it is stuck on the vinyl flex settings. Anyone come across this before? Any input greatly appreciated.
Happy New Year.

Don't know the technical answer, but try pointing a fan heater at the control panel for, say 1/2 hour and see if that might remove any moisture build up or warm up some contacts. Nothing to loose anyway.

Although it might be a daft idea, our till started playing up on Christmas Eve and despite dismantling it checking contacts etc it still won't work. Several forum threads suggested the heater treatment and today it started working again!!
