After 40 years of camping, caravanning is a luxury Earl!

We bought our first tourer just 3 years ago but traded it in for the static caravan we have now. It's home from home! There's even fast wifi on the site so that we can watch Netflix etc on the telly. Never thought we'd ever give up the tent for a caravan though, but at 65 I'm all for a bit of luxury now.

I can see this turning into a thread about camping. :-)
I too was a camper , then bought an old camper van and now I have a Mobil Home on one of the biggest camping sites in Germany. Im over 60 so I too need some luxury. Wii Fi is rubbish though as german law puts the blame on the Wiifi provider ( the campsite) if someone downloads illegal films etc.

The wifi on the site is BT Wifinity. Not the cheapest but the speed is certainly good enough for streaming. I try to keep things legal there by just using Netflix, although I do also have Kodi installed on the Firestick in the back of the tv.

My little dog loves the caravan as he is there often and gets out for long walks along the beach or through the nearby woods. Wife and daughter love the Bingo they run evry night in the entertainments complex. Because all the resorts are linked up for Bingo it's often over £1,000 for a line and double, or treble that for a full house. We're hoping to win next year's site fees!!!
