Im happy to say that Ive never had this sort of complaint from a customer. I think your mugs are as good as you´re going to get , especially at the price we pay.
The only complaint they could have is the line on the bottom is not parrallel to the bottom and for that I would say they have reason to complain.

Trusting customers???....sometimes.

Looking at those photos I think you have done a great job and I don't really think the mug is at fault here, but more likely its just that this particular design is a royal pain in the neck. It's a bit like a customer wanting a perfect circle printed on a mug, we all know that this means we need to adjust the design to be a oval when printing so it visually looks like a circle on the end product.

If this was a customer of mine I would tell them that they are perfectly within what I consider an acceptable product. If you don't agree why were they sent in the first place? It is far better to either not deliver or deliver late than to deliver what you perceive to be an inferior product.

As a side point I had a customer complain about some mugs with a similar issue, they did not want to pay for them. As I knew where they were going to be handing these out I popped along and hey presto they were being handed out like gummy bears. Sometimes the customer is just trying it on.

Of course, if Dye Sub Supplies wants a completely independent review of their mugs I will happily test a box or 10 for them free of charge :-) Sadly they will not get my business though as my supplier is 5 miles up the road which is too handy for me to switch.

The technical term is, I believe, 'Bait & Switch.'

Order a quantity to receive a discounted price, then send half back (because you never wanted them in the first place) to receive a refund.

My advice: don't give them half their money back, account for the discount in any refund.

Do them 2 posts not contradict each other mugshots if you received them you would complain about a wonky green line as you put it, then you go on to say you never noticed it and sent them out.

I'd just like to take this opportunity to thank you all for taking the time and effort to reply to these posts it's much appreciated.
At the end of the day I don't like "washing my dirty washing in public" so to speak but unfortunately had no choice.

I didn't like his comment below ,

"Im not naming and shaming. Its one of the big suppliers but seeing how they handle my complaint 1st"

I take that as a threat, sort this out and give me another 30 mugs or I will name your company on here.

I saved him the bother and like I said I had nothing to hide so named ourselves of the supplier of the said mugs.

I feel one of the reasons my business has got to were it is that we all work very hard on the customer service side of the business which to me is very important.

Sadly on this occasion it looks like we have lost a customer but I felt I was in the right since he went on social media to see what other people's views are, however it wasn't until I uploaded to photos that he Eventually sent us, that for whatever reason didn't want to post did we get to the bottom of it.

How does the saying go " you can please some people some of the time but you can't please all the people all of the time"

I think you will all agree with the above sentence retailers or suppliers alike.

regarding the independent testing socialgiraffe can you pm me you details I would appreciate an independent review.

If I had seen your email regarding posting the photos you posted for me I would of posted them straight away as they clearly show my case in point. Why would I not post them? And no, my 1st comment wasn't meant to be a threat at all. If that is how it came over I apologise.

Yes I came onto social media to see others views as obviously you have too! We are relatively new to this game so asked for advice from other members who have been doing it years to see their points of view.

And yes, SG, please get some mugs off them and try and get a straight line round the bottom of them. But 1st hold 2 together to make sure they are the same barrel shape that I received.

I don't know if you think I'm trying it on or something Steve but I'm as honest as the day is long. In my eyes your customer service has been nothing but pathetic. I had to email you again time after time asking for updates.

My customer complained to me that the line wasn't straight. In my eyes this was due to the fact that the mugs supplied by yourselves were not straight sided enough for me to get the full wrap decent. Yes I should of picked this up here but I didn't, and as said in the email I sent, you replacing 30 with the same mugs would of made us happy as I also explained we would use them for 2 sided mugs and not full wraps as this was the 1st time we needed to do a full wrap and have been more than happy with your mugs and service in the past.

What is it you have got to the bottom of exactly? Your mugs are not straight sided enough for me to carry out a simple task. One of which SHOULD be a basic task for a good mug.

And no Steve, My 2 comments do not contradict each other. We were busy at the time we produced the mugs and didn't notice the line wasn't straight. My customer obviously had the time to scrutinise the mugs for longer.

Alas, yes you have lost a customer which is a shame as we have never had a problem until now. Like I said in the email I have had enough of this farce now so lets put it to bed.

Justin, can this now be locked please or deleted. Cheers.
