Re: Sublimation not transfering image
We have no idea about your set up. Your paper ciuld be not sublimatikn paper or inks could be nit sublimatikn inks.
...or you try to print on none sublimation item.

I could be wrong but I believe you would still get a transfer, even if not a perfect one, if the print is on the wrong side of the paper?cyprian.costelloe;119833 wrote:Check your are printing on the correct side of the paper

You get a very weak image sometimes, depends on the settings.Benberg;119843 wrote:I could be wrong but I believe you would still get a transfer, even if not a perfect one, if the print is on the wrong side of the paper?

As you have not responded to the answers on this thread you have either sorted it or given up (it would be nice to know either way). If you are still looking for an answer then please give the following details:
Printer make and model
Ink manufacture and where you purchased it
Press make and model
Where you purchased the blank from
Without the above it is very difficult to answer your question, this forum is free and people give up valuable time and knowledge to help you, please help them to help you.

Re: Sublimation not transfering image
makes me wonder if this is standard ink and not sublimation as everything else seems to be in order. Or perhaps the substrate is cotton.

Re: Sublimation not transfering image
How accurate is the temperature setting on your press? I have a Stahls press that shows 200c when it is only at 145.
Temperature is critical. At lower temperature the ink won't turn to gas so you will get no sublimation. I would get a thermometer and take a reading of the platen heat.
