Re: Colour transfer too light

This is probably a sill mistake by me.

I've printed a coaster for a friend and it turned out perfect

Image

I then pressed a mug on the same printer same settings and it turned out like this

Image

Much lighter. There is more ink left on the paper then there was on the paper used on the coaster.
I tried again with different setting on the press and still the same...

First press was 185deg for 180 sec
Second press 180deg for 210 sec

I'm using a signzworld press. And ricoh SG3110DN with sawgrass ink

Any ideas please?

I did think this would be an issue, but can I get it closer to each other?

You could darken the pic in your software before printing it'll be trial and error till you get near the same

Problem is I don't think thats the issue. When I look at the paper after pressing there is less ink left on the coast paper and more on the mug paper!?

I've tried darkening the image but it's turned out the same I increased temp and time but I think I over cooked it as the black was more brown. But the brown just hasn't come out darker?!
