Sublimation patches white line.
Re: Sublimation patches white line.
I'll start with....I haven't printed any!
Just looking at patches that have already had the edges stitched and thought "Wouldn't there be a white line between the stitching and the main print?"
So assume the patch is white, press it all black, wouldn't there be a white line inside the stitching due to the ridge? I can see the stitching would take the dye, the main body would take the dye, but where it sits a bit proud at the junction of stitching and fabric surely there would be a line.
Just wondering over a cup of coffee ... back to work now.

Just discovered that the stitching around the outside is called "Edging", never a dull moment.

No, it does tend to "fill in".

Thank you. Not that I have any intention of printing any, but my mind does ponder odd things sometimes..this was one of the more sensible moments of pondering.socialgiraffe;111929 wrote:No, it does tend to "fill in".

the merrow edging if it is made of polyester would have a print on as well i suppose, or you would have to be very good at lining up

Any suppliers still selling patches? Quick search didn't throw anything up.

Yes mate, pretty sure both those companies still sell them, if you are only after one or two I may have them lying around.
