Use film with ST-3042 ?

I only taped the short sides and trimmed close to just what was needed

Oh good, thanks. I think I'll buy ST-2030 only because it's specially made to support films, don't want hassle finding the right way to use film with 3042.

I saw somewhere that you can adjust pressure on 3042 but that it's preset at factory so shouldn't really be touched. Anyway, this one came out nice but obviously need to keep repeating result to be sure

I've heard of films tearing in 3042. Korean silver one I think. The one I'm using feels really strong. I've nothing to compare it to tho so don't know what the others are like

No I used gold and silver film as I have Ricoh sg-3110 printer. I know post above says can't use film in this oven but had another try today but covered with a silicone mat before the presses silicone diaphragm and didn't get any cracking at all and it came out nice. I'm using polyamide cases, 8 mins @ 140°C

that may be so my friend...but say you have 10 orders in, and you busy with other sub orders...so you are in hurry, you try n tell me you will get the placement of image perfect every time on that puck ?

not gonna happen buddy = wasted money = frustration = more coffee getting used

Ricoh's all the time for sublimation. Epson's for canvas.

What is better between Ricoh Aficio SG 3110DN & Sawgrass Virtuoso SG 400 ? Could you give feedback about these if you ever used them or heard about ?
