I pressed a iphone 6 case last night, and the ink looked wet after all bubbley.
Today my daughter had my gf's phone and a thin film started to peal off was i ment to remove that before i pressed it ??

Re: Phone covers
Yes Cases have a thin film on them that has to be removed first.

Re: Phone covers
lol Ive been there dean I pressed a lovely clock and it pressed well only for the plastic cover to peel off unfortunately some of the ink transfered through and it was unable to be repressed. Sometimes its really hard to tell what has and has not got the cover, and as a nail biter its hard to removeDeano82;104380 wrote:Thank you that makes sense just didn't know it was there
Re: Phone covers
I watched a video in sublimation and noticed that they gently pressed the time to the top plate of the what press and it's just enough to to release those protective sheets and makes it so much easier to pull off. Certainly saved me when I did a 60 coaster order.

Please do not take this the wrong way but I what are you trying to say here?Developit;104625 wrote: that they gently pressed the time to the top plate of the what press and it's just enough to to release those protective sheets and makes it so much easier to pull off.
Do you mean they pressed the item first without an image to release the protective film?
Many thanks

Re: Phone covers
I just tapped the coaster to the top of the press and it just released the plastic film a tiny bit and made it easy to pull off.
