OK, I'll buy one, if you can supply it.
I'd even buy a broken one if anybody has one, but I'm not holding my breath.
Thinking more about it, I'd pay for the privilege of taking the case off one, and looking inside.

OK Martin, so there seems to be a deafening silence from your end ?

I understand that either the by1010 or the By1020(suitably modded ) will do, but where are they ?
Seems to be a bizarre situation when people on several forums want them desperately, but none are available.

I'll be taking the lid off my 7000 tonight, with a view to going down the hacking route, as Ricoh et al are not able to produce a sensible answer.

You need to contact Martin direct to sort this.

I've tried that, Justin, with both a pm to Martin, and contacting BMS through their web site.
Quote from BMS "I made an enquiry with our suppliers about these last week and was informed that they were unable to source them anymore. I can only suggest waiting to see if Martin comes back to you via the DSF as he may be aware of somewhere they can be located."

From Martin I've not heard since my pm to him a week ago.

Martin may be on holiday, for all I know, so I don't want to jump the gun, but what was the point of saying they were available, if within a week it proves not to be the case ?

I can now widen my request to any of the following BY1000 (for a 3000), BY1010 (for 7000), BY1020 for 7700(but a simple mod to fit the 7000), and possibly the BY1050 for the 7100, but I don't know yet if that can be modded to fit the 7000.
Any additional info regarding the bypass trays gratefully received.

Hi ArferMo,
Yes, that's the one that led me to include it in my list on #18, but I haven't yet found any source of its suitability to mod to fit the 7000
Regards
John
