ricoh sg2100n printer cant get sublijet catridges

Hi guys more help needed! i have a ricoh sg2100n and cant get the sublijet catridges online! does anyone know if the ricoh catriges for other printers are acceptable i also have refill catriges so able to take refill ink but cant locate those either

The subli carts aren't supported in that printer. If you just need A4 the printer costs very little when bought with the inks.

Hi i did find a supplier after posting this who said they do refills for my printer i have the catridges could this work concerned i cant find icc profiles either, was sold this printer as a package with mug press etc

Did you buy this from a 'reputable' supplier? The Ricoh printers use ink with a slightly different consistency, that means the third party inks you'll no doubt get offered for refilling are unlikely to work properly in the printer. In all honesty if I were you, I'd return the printer unused and look at a 3110 with proper inks.

The 2100 will take the 3110 carts, the same ricoh carts, the same refill carts, the same sublimation carts from Sawgrass and other sublimation ink manufacturers.
you'll then need an ICC profile, best bet would be a custom one from Paul, but the Sawgrass 3110 one may work OK.

I can only echo Justin's advice. There is a reason the SG2100 isn't supported by Sawgrass, though it was trialed I believe. It was found to be prone to banding, if memory serves. I'd return if possible and invest in the SG400. Bi-directional printing and a two year warranty.
