Re: Shot Glasses - Anyone print these?
<t>The ones I am getting are ceramic so hopefully should be a bit easier. Also ordered a couple of small shot glass wraps so that I can do them in the oven. Am working on a presentation shot glass for a local rum distillery that wants to celebrate 230 years of making rum. Should be a nice project if ...

Re: Ceramic Hearts
<r>I source mine from Johnsons Plastics in the USA. Very helpful people. However they are porcelain ornaments not ceramic but can definately be printed both sides. Pressure needs to be right though like with tiles to avoid cracking them.Once they are printed they look fab. <URL url="http://www ...

Re: Light source argggghhhh!
<t>You can buy daylight colour corrected strip lights from a photographic or graphic arts supplier. Try someone like Marrutts. We used to have them in the lab when we were colour printing so that colour was judged with a constant lightsource.<br/>

Re: Halogen oven temperature accuracy
<t>I wouldn't bother with preheating. I tend to get the temp stabilised in the oven which usually settles down after about 20minutes and then put the mugs in. You might have to adjust the dial to get it to click on and off at the right temp but as I said after about 20 mins mine usually settles at ...

Re: Halogen oven temperature accuracy
<t>The temp I think is borderline. I had a top element go in one oven and although it would reach 200c even with the convection it wouldn't sublimate evenly so I got another oven and it just about reaches 200 but mostly sits around 185 but because the elements are all working plus the convection the ...

Re: Halogen oven temperature accuracy
<t>I use a convection oven and find that its best to leave the thermometer in there whilst the mugs are sublimating. The dials are not accurate but I find that once I have set the temp and leave it for a while (about 15-20minutes) then it seems to keep consistant. On my oven I have to set it to 250c ...

Re: Size of Halogen oven
<t>Hi Guys, My small worktop oven has blown an element and so I thought I would try a Halogen oven importing it from the US ( I live in the West Indies) There seems to be different sizes of oven so wondered if someone could kindly give me the size I would need for doing 10/11 oz mugs with wraps ...

Re: Vibrant Colours
I've always found the unisub coasters to be nice and vibrant but you can up the saturation a bit if you take the image into photoshop and give it say 30 points of extra saturation.( Image-Hue& Saturation) I find this helps with some graphics. You could always just try one and see....
