Decision made then! I've found some on eBay so will order them and see how I get on! Of course in the meantime if anyone has any brainwaves of how I could achieve any printing today please let me know...

They are set up as in the attached picture - borrowed from the manual! The main bit is in place with the middle section pulled out.

Haven't done anything to the tanks, other than attach / re-attach cart tubes. The bungs are in as they always have been... <E>:-(</E ...

<t>Just reconnected the old magenta to the tank and tried to pull ink through from underneath of cart - same problem, pulling doesn't bring anything through and the syringe wants to pop straight back if I were to let go.<br/>
Checked that I could still pull ink from tank into syringe at connector ...
