Laser?? I think I need new glasses!
Re: Laser?? I think I need new glasses!
Just when I think I'm on the right track to buy the wow 7.2 paper I suddenly realise I have the crappiest printers ever.. and they are both Epson XP205's.. yes.. inkjet!!
So I need a laser printer now? I'm getting nowhere fast! I know cheap doesn't pay off.. certainly learnt that with these printers and sooooooo annoyed! I'm on a exceedingly low budget, just needing to get off the ground!
I need to print some black t shirts for a local band and they need to be awesome! Still got to brave it and sort the craft robo cutter out but with the self weeding and cutting I'm very drawn to that as probably be totally better.
Where should I start? And thank you for my birthday wishes.. yes.. today.. it's the big 50! Yikes

If you dont have a budget for awsome and need to deliver awsome then why not contract it out? Swipe the profit and save up for awsome gear.

Has anyone got this system yet? They went through a patch of not responding to any calls etc (which I think is now sorted), so it would be interesting to hear if anyone has purchased and how they are getting on. Bear in mind that if you intend to be doing a lot of transfers then The OKI is actually cheaper.Check out SunAngel

Yes I have it. Annie has always been most helpful. I actually went to the factory to check it out and have a go before I decided which way to jump. The OKI standard white printers were WAY out of my price range but the SunAngel's are nice units and not as chunky as the 700/900 series and the white from SunAngel is much lower cost.

How much are the toner's and how many impressions do they provide? Also, originally you needed two white cartridges in the machine, is that still the case or is it only one?the white from SunAngel is much lower cost

Re: Laser?? I think I need new glasses!
The white laser has 2 x white and one black, with the 2 whites you get a super dense white. Dont forget the printers come fully loaded with toner although the initial ones are a bit like inkjet and are chargers and will easily do 6/700 prints check out the Sunangel site for refills still good value

Re: Laser?? I think I need new glasses!
The SunAngel Website does not give any specifications or prices or toner impression. However I just did a quick search on the previous thread about this and picked out the relevant information.
*************************************************************************
OKI 4.333p per copy
SunAngel 10.133p per copy
So the two systems would be exactly the same price after about 1300 A4 prints
*************************************************************************
If anything the prices mentioned above are even wider now as WOW paper has come down significantly in price.
The same price includes the cost of the machine.
I do like the Day glo

The Day Glow is B£@@$y fantastic especially for stag nights under UV.... Talk about stand out from the crowd !!!
SunAngel now do their own transfer paper for light coloured shirts and another for hard surfaces like metal leather AND CERAMIC like MUGS WHICH IS DISHWASHER SAFE !!!!
The only down side is that the transfer papers are sold in minimum size packs of 200 which I think will be their downfall, as no small business want to lay out that much on paper when you generally only have small runs... it's too much up front.

So the same as CPM for TMT then?AND CERAMIC like MUGS WHICH IS DISHWASHER SAFE
How many washes has it been tested to as dishwasher safe means it will eventually come off.
Its a more expensive system all round by the looks of it.The only down side is that the transfer papers are sold in minimum size packs of 200 which I think will be their downfall, as no small business want to lay out that much on paper when you generally only have small runs... it's too much up front.
