Re: Light hearted question about rollers on plotter !

My Liyu has Two rollers at the back to hold the rolls of vinyl, up until yesterday I was laying the roll ontop of the Two rollers - like this:

But that kept falling off, so yesterday I had an idea - lets try it like this:

The reason I was under the impression that the rolls were supposed to be as Image 1 is because there are indents to hold the rollers at different widths, so it looked to me that you could set these for a full roll and then a smaller roll when the situation dictated (when using rolls with only a few meters left on them I mean).

By using image 2, the rolls dont fall off and you can keep 2x rolls ready for use !

I bet I am not the only One who hadnt given any thought to this :)

the problem with it being on the roller, is you will find when do long cut jobs as it is free to travel left to right, it will not always feed through the rollers straight
