this is getting concerning indeed.
we have never had ANY bother with mail going missing or not getting to our customers...

over the last 4 months they have been coming in more and more often....
now either more people are switching on the the ebay scam - tango tony - customer will get there money back NO MATTER WHAT.

or royal mail are getting worse since being privatised

and to make matters worse on ebay now...if you refund - thats a sodding defect
think we will be saying bye bye to ebay end of this yr....eps if we have to use there compulsory manged returns & there 3 month returns over xmas  -
i spoke to ebay CS today and said - under distance selling regs, as we sell personalised products, they cannot be re-sold if returned, so legally, we dont have to refund or be part of there managed returns system - we ALWAYS help customers regardless, but we want that to be OUR choice, and no sodding railroaded into it.
big changes on there coming if you are a legal business seller - and not for the better

Yep, its pretty poor the way EB is coming up with these massive hoops sellers have to jump through whilst buyers can scam you with no recourse. Hell... I had a recent case where a customer bought an item from me, claimed it never arrived, got a refund and within 48 hours the item was being re-sold by them ON eBay! Contacting eBay CS was a waste of time as I had to prove that the customer had received the item and that the item that they were selling was the item I had sent (which was pretty much impossible).
