Re: Blue tint on edges of mugs

Post by Oaten »

Hi everyone,

Im printing with a richo 3110DN and my oven is a 3d sublimation heat press.

I print at 190c for 8mins

Every print I seem to get a light tint of blue on the edges of the mugs top and bottom where the print isnt sitting. Any ideas why this could be happening?

Cut your transfer paper so it covers that area of the mug, and or use an extra sheet to protect the exposed area of the mug.
Tape transfer paper tight.

Oh so have the paper covering the whole face of the mug rather than just where the print is?

Also so I only tape the end he's next to the handles, should I be taping every edge.

thanks for the help again

Hello Oaten,

I had same problem before with same stuff than you.
Follow pisquee advices, it's because your wrap isn't really clean.

I use cooking paper to protect when my transfer paper is too much cut.
