Re: Help to choose a mug press
Hello:
I need your advice about a mug press.
Of course, I know the better is the press I will have less problems but my situation now is quite desperate, as I need to buy one without money.
Hopefully I will be able to buy a better one in the future but now:
Is this one good enough to start?

Thank you.

Look at his feedback, he sells crap. If you have no money, you don't have £53 to waste. I'd look at one of the local suppliers who will stand by one their cheap mug presses. You should get one for about £100.
Or it would be less of a risk picking up a second hand one on ebay, just make sure that the heat blanket is working ok and that replacements are still available for that model.

Re: Help to choose a mug press
yet another i have little funds will this do post . I shall apologise now cause im probably gonna say stuff you dont like and believe me i mean no disrespect to you. I appreciate you may be working on a tight budget but unless you buy a reasonable machine second hand you will definatly get what you pay for . You can buy a cheap press and say ahh it will get me through until i can afford better believe me it wont work you WILL end up buying twice the next thing would be you posting disaterous pictures of mugs gone wrong on the forum and asking the question "what am i doing wrong?" and the answer will always be you have bought a cheap bit of kit.
lets get something straight here when its a cheapo press that doesnt mean it will last 12 months then break down , it might go on for years what it does mean is the results will be sub standard.
you will waste more money in misprints and trying to get it right
you will sell mugs only to get either bad feedback on ebay or customer who wont return to you resulting in lost money (remember customers are great at telling everyone else how crap ypu are but never tell you)
you will at some point need a new blanket for the machine only to find the guy you bought it off is long gone (most blankets are wired differntly theres no real standard)
you will either bin the machine and give in or buy a new one again wasting yet more money
your new venture should be treated like a newborn baby and nurtred the same way every successful business is due mainly to reputaion and repeat custom why risk this on cheap substandard equiptment .
Ok so you can afford a nice posh press no problem theres loads on here who can help out with trade prices inbox me if you want to know what id do in the way of trade prices for you , the point is you can still sell your mugs you get someone else to make them for you and then you put the profit to one side to build up until you have enough for some decent kit ok it may take longer to get but what you will get is quality items therefore a good reputaion with your customers and repeat custom you dont have to come to me theres loads on here who im sure would do the same for you .
sorry if ive been harsh but its all truth hopefully you would see it as good advice
Brett
