Re: Price of t-shirts to retail...
Hi Guys
For those of you who sell to retail outlets you may find this of interest.
I just had an email from a wholesaler regarding a new product line of t-shirts they are now stocking (zombie's, skulls etc). Their price to retail outlets is £5.21 each with a minimum purchase of 6 garments, the recommended selling price is £11.99.
Price seems quite high to me but I do not really know anything about this side of selling.
Just thought those who do sell to retail might like to know what wholesalers are selling at.

Re: Price of t-shirts to retail...
If i bought them in at wholesale at £5.21 my new website retails designs for £12.50 so for me it would be worth it as i would be making more than 100% and not doing no work, Maybe you would like to pm me the wholesaler simon

yep sounds about right to me Simon, the only thing thats changed over the years is the Qty - to get "wholesale prices" for 6 items seems lower than ever

That's not a bad price I don't think.. as Dave says it's no real work involved and to be honest even little people like me can do 6 as a minim order for wholesale.

Re: Price of t-shirts to retail...
Most of the shops we supply won't buy unless they can mark up by 2.5X to our RRP, maybe t-shirt shops are different to homewares/gifts. agree that 6 units is low for a minimum order - I would have expected MOQ of 6 of each design, but then a minimum transaction of around £150-£200.
Re: Price of t-shirts to retail...
I think at that price is would be 1 size and 1 design only, but money is tight and there is no shortage of tshirt designs out there nowadays. Very cutthroat market
Re: Price of t-shirts to retail...
I agree, prices seem about right for buying in 6's and 12 quid for a t shirt is just fine.
