i seem to be having a few probs cutting flock with my old robo cc200 (new blade). i can cut it ok but the designs cannot be fine at all. is there a trick to doing finer detail/smaller text, is there a type of flock more suited to this type of work, could my cutter be part of the prob in that a newer model; would give better results, or is flock in general better suited to chunkier stuff?

I always struggled cutting flock with the craft robo. It didn't really have the strength to cut through the thickness of the flock and especially anything detailed.

Are you able to use a 60 degree blade ( standard is 45) with the Robo? If you can then this might help. But even with the right blade the small stuff is a pain.

i've just got the one blade, i'm guessing 45deg. i'm more a screenprinhter than vinyl so excuse my ignorance. i pretty much do sample stuff and ideas with vinyl hence only having an old little cutter. maybe its time to buy something a bit better?

thanks guys. i'm thinking maybe its time to look at hunting down a better used plotter as the robo seems to struggle with a couple of things i've tried recently. chrome clothing vinyl was a recent one that i just can't get it to cut decently.

in the meantime though if anyone can suggest a thin flock type feel vinyl to try?
