Hi All

I have been using two types of application tape, either Grafityp or TMT.

Grafityp is the TTD Evolution and TMT is their medium tack.

I really like TTD Evolution because its hot peel which makes the whole process quicker, does not take up any ink and can be reused a few times. However the TMT application tape can be reused many more times and thus saves money. It is also quite hard when peeling which I quite like as it almost is a last check that the vinyl took to the garment well.

So what in your opinion is the best application tape out there?

is there any difference?
never re-used any of them, just as long as there is no residue, cheaper is better !
.....but buying from my regular supplier means no extra carriage costs, so i keep buying from them.

Huge difference.

Not sure what you are using right now, but get a sample of the others out there and you will see the difference. For example, if I am doing a run of 200 presses, the Evolution tape will save me about a third of the time simply because I can peel it while on the heat press and then repress the item to seal in the transfer/vinyl.

Appreciate that getting from a different supplier means more postage but that is why I have stuck with the suppliers I already use.

Was interested to see if someone raves about MDP application tape (not sure if they sell it to be honest) because if they do I would certainly give it a try.
