Glass for Architectural ?

I've got no experience in dye sub.
I am just wondering....
I know there are sublimated glass tiles.
Why are there no sublimated glass doors, furniture, or even for architectural applications ?
for example, can people sublimate a 1.8m X 2.4 m glass panel for installing at a retail shop ?
If the image can be used for floor tiles, surely it can be used for other interior applications ?

For glass printing, people use UV or ceramic ink printer that cost a bomb.
Wouldn't doing a dye sub process save money for them ?
If there is a big enough heat press or heat vacuum bagging system, can it be done ?

You can print very large glass products with sublimation but you need a very large heat press. One of our customers prints splash backs for kitchens which can be glass or other materials. You need (a) a very large printer, such as the epson 9xxx series or above (these can be 42" or 60" wide printers) and a heat press that will take 60" wide substrates. Needless to say customers with this type of kit are few and far between and the heat press used by this customer has been built by themselves.

So yes all this can be done, but it is often specialised/ customised.
